alright here we go
*WARNING* I hold no responsibility for your system being messed up after this, this process has worked for 3 people so far, no mishaps, if you follow these instructions, you will do it correctly*WARNING*
1. download these 2 files
B. here's a prog that will let you switch from Explorer to Litestep
2. Extract both of the zip's to C:\litestep
3. choose which resolution and where you want the bar located from the C:\litestep folder
such as my setup step_1152_top.rc
4. change that file to step.rc
5. ok now here is the most crucial part
open the run command (start>run)
type system.ini and press enter
6. look for the line
shell=Explorer.exe
(if your freshcut you will have a virus extension on that :D )
change it to
shell=C:\litestep\litespawn.exe
*IMPORTANT*check your target, check your target, check your target*IMPORTANT*
make sure it points to the right place
7. restart your computer
8. there should be a popup that will allow you to change from Explorer to Litestep
choose litestep
9. enjoy its leetness

HOW TO GO BACK, NOT USING LITESTEP ANYMORE
open system.ini
change the shell back to
shell=Explorer.exe
OR
THIS WORKS FOR Win98 ONLY
if you fk up, restart in safe mode command prompt only,
type cd windows
then type edit system.ini
and check your target and make sure it points to where you litespawn is
if not, go back to explorer.exe
